I found Medicare Gurus because my mother has been with them for 7 years with 3 different companies and they have come through for our family in hard times. Now that I am turning 65, I called and got Frank and his assistant to get me "all set up" now that I'm losing my health benefits from work. They got me all set up with a Medicare Supplement Plan G, dental insurance and life insurance so inexpensive I thought it was term.

I've been a client of Medicare Gurus for 17 years and though my initial agent has passed on, the team there are always there for me. Becky, Jack, Frank, Jacob, Brad, Chelsea and so many more are always there, always cheerful and always on our side. Always get super informative input for insurance decisions I'm making. Prompt return calls and very friendly, courteous reps. I have initiated or changed several medicare supplemental polices over the past 10 years for my mom and mother-in-law. I have always gotten accurate and informative information and the policy process has gone well each time. They've even reached out to me when a beneficial option has become available. Today I spoke with Jacob and he took the time to make sure all my questions were answered and helped me set up a new policy upgrade, saving money for my mother-in-law.

Frank Bryant was excellent! We discussed my current Advantage plan and why it was so expensive. He described other options with exactly the same doctors and services for significantly less money. He answered all of my questions and concerns so that I felt comfortable signing onto a new Medicare health plan. I also mentioned that my daughter pays far too much for healthcare and he very kindly suggested that he would talk to her about her options. Medicare Gurus is a rare find
Medicare Gurus is a rare find in an era of incompetence. I called 5 different places to get some advice and realized most of the people in these big companies know less about Medicare than I do. My "Guru" Frank and his assistant Chris spent over an hour with me and explained the ins and out and even got my wife coverage when she has multiple health conditions. I recommend the plan G Medicare Supplement with Traditional Medicare A & B, but call them to understand why as they can explain it better than I can.

A couple of months ago they contacted me to update my policy and reduce my monthly premium by $75!!! Who does that??? MEDICARE GURUS that’s who! I highly recommend them!

You guys are awesome. I had the same Supplemental plan for years and just figured the premiums were going up every year because that’s just the way insurance is. I received a call from Medicare Gurus asking if I would be interested in changing companies if I could save money. That was not something they had to do. Well, within just a very short time I was switched to another company that saved me $48. per month. That’s awesome customer service.

When it’s bad it’s real bad- when it’s good it’s marvelous
I had two people who were on top of it and gave me correct and useful info- I had terrible people who did not know what they were talking about- gave me a wrong fax number which delayed my processing for 6 weeks, told me the wrong way to send proof of medical coverage info, and one who told me I no longer needed to apply for part D because ( as of last May) it had been rolled into plan B. There was another who told me my application had been received- when in fact it had not... I didn’t find out until I took the initiative to call 2 weeks later and got a competent person. You folks already know your website is terrible for newcomers- confusing and almost inoperable. So why don’t you do something about it already?

I have a policy but no membership card
The people on the phone I dealt with were knowledgeable & courteous. However, even though I was asked to pay the first month’s fee in advance, when the policy went into effect on Feb 1, I still had not - and have not - received anything other than a paper version of my membership card. I have been promised that I will receive my card sometime next week....about 10 days after the policy goes into effect. As a customer service consultant in one of my former careers, this would be a red flag.

We started out with one agent in September and was switched later to another agent. Both were very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and patiently waited for us to review our health issues before making our decision.
